the Nickel Bridge from Byrd Park, so not quite in this blog’s jurisdiction, but there are no boundaries when it comes to our kids’ calorie-burning amusement. What was once an understated though expansive playground is now equipped with some modern structures that are sure to make many families into frequent visitors.

This thing has a long and short slide on either end, a rock wall, and giant nuanced staircase of faux rocks.
