An annual art show at Blanton Avenue’s First Unitarian church received some coverage from the Times-Dispatch.
It’s this week. Check it out:
For a week each autumn, the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Richmond on Blanton Avenue near Byrd Park becomes a first-rate art gallery. Lots of churches have bazaars and craft sales, but I’m not sure any go to this elaborate extreme: a five-day juried show of fine arts and crafts featuring more than 4,000 pieces of art representing more than 200 artists from around Virginia, made possible by the work of more than 200 volunteers — and this is its 47th year.
