Shotgun Robbery Across from Maymont Pre-School

At 2:40 on Wednesday afternoon, three men allegedly burst into a house on the 1700 block of Colorado Ave, pointing a shotgun, beating a man in the face and demanding money and taking it.  Above, you see Colorado Manor which claims most of the houses on that block.  It's a scary prospect for any homeowner.  Was it random?  Could your house be next?  There may actually be more pressing concerns.

ly across the street from the shotgun robbery sits Maymont pre-school.  At 2:40, when the robbery went down, parents were likely picking up their children.  Were there kids in the jungle-gym seeing the gunmen? What if shots were fired?  Stray bullets?

Bad guys, if you're reading this, please don't use firearms and assault people near the pre-school.  And no one deserves to have their door kicked in, their face beaten on, and their money stolen, especially not in the own home. Times may be tough, but don't take it out on other people. And stay far away from children playing and learning.
