Home Invasion in Randolph

The Richmond Times-Dispatch reports:

RICHMOND, Va. –
Richmond police are investigating a home invasion that occurred in the Randolph neighborhood.

Capt. Michael Zohab said the victim was struck in the face during Wednesday's 2:40 p.m. attack but refused medical attention.

The attack took place at a residence in the 1700 block of Colorado Avenue, where the victim told police three black males _

one brandishing a shotgun _ forced their way inside, struck him and took money.

Zohab said the victim told police his dog may have bitten one of the suspects.

One suspect was described as about 5 feet, 11 inches tall, weighing about 210 pounds, wearing a black T-shirt and dark jeans and carrying a shotgun. Another was wearing all black clothing with his hair in boxed braids about 2 inches long. The third was described only as a black male.
