"Don't forget your crib sheets!"

Maymont's pre-school initiative is having its orientation for parents and children this week, as the first day of pre-school is Monday, September 10th. Parents are encouraged to buy a backpack for their child and fill it with a change of clothes, labeled with his/her name. Although the orientation for us is scheduled for Tuesday the 4th, we only received our notice on F

riday. Not exactly fair warning. One interesting tidbit, parents should bring two “crib sheets.” Good luck getting our kid to take a nap. He gave that up ages ago. But, that new playground is definitely an attraction, as are the teachers. Maymont pre-school parents typically have nothing but praise for the school and their children's learning socialization experiences.
