Just Say NNO
This was the scene at National Night Out in Byrd Park on Tuesday night. There was food, music, neighbors, and lots if kids. A personal highlight each year is the fried fish cranked out by Nate. Does anyone have his picture? Or a picture of the fish? So delicious. Empress catering provided veggie burgers. There was BBQ and sides. Ice cream sandwiches were seen in the hands of children.

ught a mellow vibe with their acoustic versions of 60's and 70's classics.
Meandering jazz tunes set the stage at the onset. People commented on how good the music was throughout.
Byrd Parker and ex-Mayor, Rudy McCollum was quick to greet 5th district City Council candidate, Parker Agelasto. State Delegate Betsy Carr arrived shortly there-after. Anybody else have any highlights to share?
Just a quick note as this event was planned with just 4 neighbors. Last year we had 10 committee members. We had good help with set up, hosting, and take down but we need volunteers to serve on the organizing committee.
