“Byrd Park is a Mess”

Two consecutive stormy nights got a lot of people on Twitter talking about the damaged trees in the park. How all those people got up the courage to venture out in the 100+ temperatures is pretty baffling. But the blog needs documentation, so we walked over to the Nature Center (barely made it) and took these pics along the way.

We’ve seen worse in recent years, but it might be a challenge to clean all ofthis up in time for the fireworks on the 4th.
