Road Closed: Rosewood
The 2100 block of Rosewood was closed off at 10pm last night as road work crews brought giant trucks to the median, flashing their yellow lights. A strange sight for that time of night.
Work crews returned this morning, prying a giant metal slab off the street they’d used to over a hole dug the previous night. I asked what they were fixing. “The water man.” Is it broken? “We won’t know til we get down there.”
Is everybody’s water working? This must be important to warrant night’s an weekend work.
Our water was fine, though the guy said it would be cut off at some point. Must have been while we were sleeping, because we didn’t notice anything.
