Clothing Burgled in Maymont
Actually, the premises was the subject of the burglary and clothes were stolen. Here’s the police report synopsis:
BURGLARY
5/12/12 6:00 a.m. – 2:20 p.m.
1700 block of South Meadow Street
An unknown person(s) broke into the residence and stole clothing.
Maymont is at 1700 Hampton Street, not in the 1700 block of Meadow Street. No clothing stolen at the estate.
I should be more specific that Maymont the neighborhood is the focus of the headline, not the estate and park.
That would make it even more interesting if someone stole Victorian garb. It would definitely make the criminal easier to catch.
