Grandpa Used to Rock in Byrd Park
A local Tumblr account posted this picture saying that the guitarist is his grandfather. But, what’s really significant here is that this was taken in Byrd Park. Can anyone place exactly where in the park this band of rockers are seated?
Was this somewhere near the present-day Nature Center?
I’m gonna say yes. Maybe between Shields lake and the stone building with the two fireplaces? Janine, I’d expect you to identify those trees and match them to their section of the park. (I don’t really know where the pic was taken)
