Announcing the winner of the Byrd Park Community Garden Logo!

This logo beat out the competition (Bees and Carrots) 17 to 10 votes. Thank you to all of you who cast a vote. Thank you especially to the very talented and generous Karen Guard, the official graphic designer of the Byrd Park Community Garden.

Look for this logo on signs, letterheads, site plans, t-shirts, coffee mugs, and superbowl ads.

This Saturday (2/25) at 3pm, we are meeting at 2027 Idlewood (the Bourgeois home, same as last time) for our second meeting.

We will walk over and see the garden site and discuss how our plans are coming along–each person who had an assignment from the last meeting should report back on his/her progress. If you can’t be there, send me an email with your update.
