July 4th Fireworks over Byrd Park

Start making your plans to watch the fireworks on July 4th. For many in our neighborhoods, all you have to do is look up.  But, there will be visitors from all over descending on Byrd Park.  And why not? The flashing reflection on our three lakes is a beautiful thing. The glowing necklaces and toys to be had by the scores of rowdy children. For better or worse, it will only last a few hours.

If last year is any indication, there will be a FREE concert in Dogwood Dell at 5pm and the sky will light up at 9pm or so.
