The Alley is the Oddity

Glen Allen? Nope. Randolph West. You could play street hockey with two teams of five in an alley this size.
Turning east off of Allen Avenue as it heads south from Idlewood, a development of new construction reveals a different side to the city. Randolph West might look like suburbia, but it’s on the bus line, and it offers some progressive surprises (after the jump – along with a special message to Randolph readers).
To Randolph’s residents: You are welcome to use this website for your community bulletin board needs. Please don’t hesitate to send story ideas, photos, or event listings using the link at the top of the page. Without your input, I’ll just continue exploring, building relationships, and making in-roads, but it will take a while. I look forward to seeing our neighborhoods get to know eachother better on here.

If the city decides to roll these out in other neighborhoods, let’s hope they rig them to heat our houses.
