The 4th: Music at 5. Fireworks at 9
Just a reminder about the July 4th festivities in the park – here’s the skinny from WTVR:
The skies will light up Sunday, July 4th at Dogwood Dell for a Richmond Tradition of free music and fireworks. The entertainment will start at 5 p.m. with performances from Bak N DA Day, Rachel Leyco,The Carillion Bell Concert, with Larry Robinson’s celebrating his 50th Anniversary; the Richmond Concert Band and Fireworks usually around 9 p.m.
Will we see anybody taking in the bombastic light-show from a rowboat on the water? On a scarcely related note from Craigslist. Someone in Byrd Park is selling a fog machine and laser lights for $30. With a toy like this, every night can be July 4th at your house.
