Need a GED? Get Paid $175 to Practice
The state of Virginia is participating in a study sponsored by the GED Testing Service to find out see how GED test takers perform on computer-based tests. Participants in the study must need a GED and plan to take the real GED test after taking a practice test at the closest Pearson-VUE computer lab. In Richmond, the lab is just off Broad Street.
For each of the five sections of the practice test, the participant will make $15 and an extra $20 for scoring above 410points out of 800 possible. That’s a total of $175 for taking the 2.5 hour computer based practice test. Richmond’s testing center is located in Scott’s Addition, but there are also locations in Chesterfield and Henrico.
Please spread the word. At last count, over 1.2 million adults Virginia did not have a high school credential or a GED. Call 1-877-392-6433 for more information.
