Once a year, the purple blooms of this majestic wisteria vine stop passers by in their tracks. The dangling flowers look like grape clusters in a Matisse painting. But, it only lasts a week or so. If they’re gone when you pull up to the Addison Ave alley between Maplewood and Rosewood, I hope this camera-phone picture will suffice. Also, Google maps streetview was actually recorded during the blooming of the tree/vine blooming.
