Tree the Track, Jan. 23th

The Friends of William Byrd Park and the Richmond Tree Stewards will be out on Saturday, January 23th* planting 20 trees to help TREE THE TRACK and restore shade to the Byrd Park Vita Course. Tree the Track is a three-year project of Friends of William Byrd Park (FOWBP), Richmond Department of Parks, Recreation & Community Facilities, Public Works, and the Richmond Recreation and Parks Foundation to replace the large number of trees that have been lost to old age and storms in the last decade.
*Can someone associated with this event please confirm these details (especially the date)?

January 20th is a Wednesday. Is the correct date January 23rd?

Good catch, Janine. I got this info forwarded to me and just copied it without looking too close. I added a request in there for confirmation of the details. Let’s hope the even comes together in a big way.
