Coffee Delivery to Byrd Park?

lamplighterLamplighter Roasting Company, a cafe opening at Parkwood and Addison, just over the 195 interstate footbridge, is selling coffee subscriptions for $10 per week for a pound of fresh roasted coffee delivered by bicycle.  The story is featured at Richmond Bizsense, and focuses on the new business’s coffee roasting.  However, Lamplighter also has outdoor seating and an extensive sandwich menu on their website. The cafe/roaster plans to open the week of December 14th.

Went to Lamplighter for coffee this morning. The staff is super friendly, the coffee is great. I ran into neighbors at the cafe and others by the footbridge. Yay for new business!

Also, check out this great write-up on Lamplighter. It will answer all of your burning questions.
