Hopefully, with more hands on deck, we'll generate more content, spread out responsibility to a manageable level, and the increased participation will result in an informative, engaging, and representative community website. The involvement is as much or as little as you can give. Ideally, we need a person or persons to take on day-to-day responsibility for the site. This basically means 30 minutes or so a day posting new stories and calendar events as they come in, perhaps following up in ideas or questions that are sent in by others. This is probably a good role for someone that knows or would like to know the civic, political, and cultural leaders of the area. The site also depends on community residents to submit ideas, stories, observations, events, photos, etc. If you see something that you think other folks in the area would like to know about or have a chance to discuss, send it in! If you are a member of a local organization and you've got something planned - send it in! Hey Tamisha,

I'm a teacher and in the throws of house renovation. One of the reasons we moved to the city was for the great neighborhood resources.
